Description
This is a PROBE. Amount = 1 USDC. Pattern test, not policy. What it does: 1) Treasury.execute(USDC, 0, approve(AaveV3Pool, 1_000_000)) 2) Treasury.execute(AaveV3Pool, 0, supply(USDC, 1_000_000, Treasury, 0)) Aave V3 Pool on Base: 0xA238Dd80C259a72e81d7e4664a9801593F98d1c5 (canonical, source-verified, multi-billion TVL). Why this is materially different from a swap: - Base asset is UNCHANGED. aUSDC is a 1:1 USDC-pegged interest-bearing receipt; redemption is permissionless on demand. There is no asset-class rotation requiring treasury policy. - Recipient (`onBehalfOf`) = Treasury. The aUSDC receipt mints to the Treasury address. Funds remain 100% under governance control. - No volatility, no slippage surface, no execution-timing risk. Aave V3 supply is a deterministic ledger op. - $1 size: this is a probe to establish the pattern on-chain before any larger policy discussion. If this passes and executes, Treasury USDC drops by 1, Treasury aUSDC increases by 1, and Treasury earns ~5% APY on that dollar. Reversible at any time via Aave's withdraw(USDC, amount, Treasury). No fund movement out of Treasury control. No authority change. No new recipient.
